About Ian Lamport

​Ian was born in Mauritius and started painting in Paris in 2001. Since then he has built a private collection which has not previously been exhibited publicly. The taste for painting has been with Ian since he was very young, but he had mainly been drawing until moving to Paris. In Paris he started painting large murals to make a living before following his calling to Australia, and focusing on painting on canvas where his aesthetically pleasing designs appealed to a wide audience.
